Copy Folder Structure Without Files in Folgo

If you need to replicate folder organization without transferring existing items, the platform includes a handy option for precisely that purpose. Here’s the process to get it done:

  1. Open the Folgo plugin inside Google Drive, or whichever location you’re accessing Folgo from.
  2. Pick the directories you wish to move.
  3. By default, permissions aren’t carried over. If you’d like them to remain intact, select “Keep files & folders permissions.”
  4. Enable the setting that skips copying the contents of your folders. This step ensures all of the subfolders get recreated at the destination, but no files are transferred.
  5. Begin the transfer. Folgo will replicate the folder hierarchy according to your selected options.

It’s an efficient way to prepare a new shared workspace or project structure without cluttering it with old data. If you have any questions about the process or require additional help, our support team is here to assist.
